John Hickenlooper will run for reelection in 2026, but first he must earn the Democratic Party’s nomination to be on the November 2026 ballot.

What does that mean for Colorado voters?

A grassroots movement can force Hickenlooper to face a primary challenger.

I am mounting exactly that campaign now, by attending protest events, party meetings and events, and accepting speaking invitations everywhere I can.

But I need your help.

We need individuals in every county in the state to show up for this campaign when precinct caucuses, county assemblies and state assemblies are held in March and April of next year.

At the precinct and county assemblies, I must earn 15 percent of the vote to have delegates at the state assembly who can cast a vote for me.

At the state assembly, I need 30 percent of the vote to force Hickenlooper to a primary. To reach that level of support, this campaign needs to be well-known throughout the state.
